Events are a way for us to get involved in the community and for the community to get involved with us. From volunteering to presentations the Rebel Alliance is working towards sharing what STEM is all about. Feel free to reach out and find ways you can get involved with the team or with opportunities in the community where we can spread our message and create a greater Owatonna!
Community Pathways Volunteering
This year, every second Tuesday of the month from December to April the Owatonna Robotics team goes down to Owatonna Community Pathways to assist with taking in and sorting through clothing donations, assisting shoppers, and stocking shelves in the food shelf. We are excited to start this new tradition and get more involved with the community.

Regionals allow us to go compete and collaborate with other teams from across the state and further! Around 60 teams come to compete for the chance to attend FIRST Championships. If you haven’t been to a regional we highly encourage you to come check one out this season.

Kick-off
This year’s game theme is CRESCENDO, a game that will incorporate art and music. Each year the Owatonna Robotics Team gathers in one space together to watch the live stream that tells us what our game objectives for the season will be. The end time is tentative.

Driving & Scouting Practice
We will be sending down interested drivers and souters to Byron to get some practice time on Byron’s field. This is a great opportunity so mark the date! Enter through door 9 by the pool.
Pre-Season
We will be having pre-season training typically Tuesdays and Thursdays with additional days of the week periodically. These pre-season training sessions will take place from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM.
Introductory and Parent Meeting
At this meeting, any students interested in joining the Owatonna Robotics Team and those students’ parents can come and hear what time meetings are, where we’re meeting, and general season information. We will be meeting in the commons (lunch room). We hope to see you there!
