Week 8

Our team has been finalizing our robot designs for upcoming competitions and we are finishing testing for the robot.

Build: The build sub-team replaced the swerve guards and updated the electrical shield, which protects the wiring. They fixed support beams inside the elevator, fixed the shallow climber so it wasn’t twisting and added two funnels to help the climber climb on the cage.

Programming: The programming sub-team has been fixing 3d printers, printing buttons, and parts, and has been fine-tuning presets. Presets are pre-assigned angles on the elevator pivot points, setting it to a predetermined height. They are also working on locationalizing and positioning on the field based on coordinates.

Electrical: The electrical sub-team has been working on wire management, changing wire length to fit new changes on the robot, getting batteries ready for the competition and started documentation on wires, which is if a wire gets undone we can tell which wire it is.

Cad: The cad sub-team had worked on modeling the intake, and implementing it on the robot and printed it off. They also modeled and built the climber.
