Kickoff & Week 1

Our sub-teams have been working together to finalize the design of the competition robot and set up our practice field in preparation for the field elements in this year’s game.

Build - The build sub-team is currently working on two robots. The new build members have finished building the frame for the kitbot and are now constructing the intake and shooter of the kitbot. The sub-team has also finished building the frame for the competition robot.

Safety - The safety sub-team is informing members on how to stay safe in the robotics environment and creating a safety presentation for the team.

CAD - The CAD sub-team is designing both the shooter and the intake for our robot.

Electrical - The electrical sub-team has been checking the condition of our batteries and 3D-printed battery tags to mark each battery’s current condition. In addition to those tasks, they have taught the new electrical members how different electrical components function and guided them with wiring the kitbot.
