Week 5

Build Team

The build team focused on improving the shooter by maintaining proper tension on the fuel to ensure consistent performance and re-engineering the output mount to enhance alignment and efficiency. They also disassembled the old kitbot hopper and repurposed its parts to create a redesigned ramp that provides better fuel containment and smoother feeding into the shooter system.

Programming Team

The Programming Team has successfully programmed the swerve drive system and configured the path planner for autonomous operation. These updates will help improve the robot’s movement, accuracy, and overall performance during competition.

Electrical Team

The Electrical Team has been focused on ensuring that all server hubs are working properly, from Duplex to Roblex. They have also been preparing batteries to ensure they are ready for use. In addition, the team has transitioned from using paper records to Google Sheets to track battery status. This new system helps monitor battery performance and identify which batteries are best suited for competition.

CAD Team

The CAD team designed and tested button mechanisms, making improvements through multiple redesigns. They also developed and refined shooter brackets for the robot, ensuring the fuel is properly aligned for accurate and consistent shots, while welcoming and integrating new CAD members into the team.
